Emotional Pain and Suffering? Try this SIMPLE trick!!

We have all heard a familiar expression akin to: “The truth is a bitter pill to swallow.” and? especially when the pain seemingly comes from the outside, external world and directly impacts our internal feelings.  For me? Words like, “high school,” “bullying,” or, “older brother,” to name a few, invited a litany of gnarled emotions that I was not accustomed to handling. Again, for me? These were triggering words that in some circumstances could leave me feeling powerless.  It is accurate to share how life can attack the best places while somehow knowing how to challenge our weaknesses and limitations that were yet discovered.

  When this type of mental interference happens to shift and alter desirable internal emotions? Things like joy, peace, happiness, appreciation, etc.: here is the step by step, internal workout solution for each and every single person who chose to read up to this point to grab some value.   1.   Find a safe, quiet and comfortable location to relax, sit and close the eyes.

  2. With eyes closed, become aware of the thoughts flashing across the mind’s stage and notice whether any negative emotions appear in relation to any of them.

  3. The moment a negative emotion is revealed as witnessed in the mind and felt by the body (usually in the solar plexus, or stomach/gut areas) is the exact moment when the thought-emotion connection can be made where a specific certain thought results in an uneasy-type of feeling. Click! Found it!

  4. Establish presence in the now—the very moment while at the same time remaining within the negative emotional state. 

  5. Connect with the location of the body where the negative emotion appears to be draining energy from. Right? So we are back to the solar plexus, or stomach, or wherever it hurts… Then speak out loud to yourself to claim back your power by saying, “I have the power to control my emotional state. I am taking back my right. I am in control of the way I choose to feel.” 

  6. Using your imagination, create a switchboard with an energy dial that is associated with your pain.

  7. Turn down, or lower the envisioned, “energy dial,” that relates to the thought-based emotion and internalized pain.

    The power is all yours now, as it always has been and should be! Great work! Thank you for performing that simple mental exercise with us. I do hope you regained some strength and otherwise, some enlightenment because you have now consciously awakened to the notion that you hold the power to controlling your emotional state.  IT might be bad and unthinkable at first, and emotions are completely normal. But a person will know when enough is enough and that they are under someone, or, something else’s control that is not even present. If the other person, place or thing in either presence, or absence, can manipulate emotional patterns and behaviors. 

As most experts on the subject of psychology would agree, emotional patterns are typically the result of the feeling-based interactions related with a specific person, place or thing. One’s circumstantial environment is due to their state of repetitious feelings related to their apparent surroundings. 

Again and again you continue to become master of your own world. Thank you for taking the time to regain and reestablish yourself for all of the world to benefit from your fullest-self.
