The Triggers and Anchors of The Past—How Do I Move Forward From Here?
Impressions from the past—experiences either good, or bad—dependent upon perspective—can suddenly interrupt current life pursuits and aimed ambitions with a thwarting severity. These memory-based impressions can become so powerfully overwhelming they may even debilitate and, or completely annihilate motivation to progress, or to simply to try again. Because? What’s the point? IT already happened. There’s no chance of IT happening to me…etcetera and so on and so forth. Rationale’s and ways of thinking from the past that often play a large role in who we are becoming.
These types of reactions are typical to expect in a way and some might even argue as being planned. The societal programs and platforms for which some of us adapt to and rely on have already been arranged in a way that directs the attention directly to the past: of what has already happened. Also a uniform, conditioned response to enjoying life now is the idea of reflection. A common tool relied upon where in order to interpret which path to follow along on the next occasion an understanding of which path NOT to follow has been learned.
The “bad” times where things may not have occurred in a way in which one expected them to are ingrained memories that remain embedded within recollective rallies as being “broken.” And while a moment of reflection might enable an individual to discover what was interrupting their progress the first time around a bad experience leaving a heavily anchored impression can potentially become a threat much like a moth fluttering too closely to a spider’s web. It is pretty obvious what that off-course fluttering will result in.
In order that a person can effectively and timely readjust to turn a different corner, if need be, and within their lifetime, it is important that this individual rehearses the importance and significance of life occurring in their present moment. Awareness then is key for what is occurring now is what will occur for one in the future. Clarity of mind then, becomes incredibly advantageous! No proper means to leverage the tools necessary to accomplish the entrance to the gates? No worries. YOUR mind is all you need to begin with. Added doubly the importance of that clarity notion mentioned earlier. Consider purchasing this title on our website to start with HERE.
It is completely reasonable to use reflection to one’s advantage in getting ahead in life, yet, in our current day and age? Time moves in such a unique and discordant path for everyone and for a variety of reasons that it seems rather apparent to everyone that nearly everything of relevant significance and that which our attention is being placed already exists. Everything has already been done before. BEFORE, BEFORE, BEFORE=THE PAST. So what is the point?
It becomes the habitual normal pattern to relinquish our intentional futuristic desired outcomes onto others. We like to share and tell stories. More often than not these stories rely strictly upon our past events of occurrence—our gathered perspective up until the moment. Compared yourself lately with anyone? That’s going to cause damage in the long run. Why? Because you—GET THIS—are unique—AND? so are they. This means that many and most of the conclusions derived from them are moot. We are all experiencing existence differently from one another! What could be more challenging for an individual to overcome indefinitely than a “negative” experience from their past that is triggered and thus opening up an emotional floodgate of protective alliances and defensive mechanisms from particularly older programmed, but insignificant automatic relays of responses are set free—perceived “anchors” fall apart—a person can become overwhelmed by the feelings of helplessness and confusion when they are not actively developing themselves for who they are at present! Consider SIGNING UP for that support HERE, by the way. If you can recognize that your noticing that your defensive “outfits” have become outdated. For instance? No longer to backyard brawls make much sense. There’s way too much to lose when a conflict becomes physical and not enough time to deal with it.
Emotions weren’t part of the future, were they? Yes. They absolutely are here to stay—and, first? congratulate yourself for being human! Yay. Second? Discover how to use them to leverage your circumstance appropriately and work with them—through them. As if you were pulling out a screwdriver from your belt. Why not even consider choosing having the emotional experience of your future-self right now? Most people do not even get what I am sharing with you right now. That’s okay! They were never trained how to do that for themselves. Looking back on the past experiences stands to be an easier choice for the majority of people to make. All sorts of things get in the way! Interpretations of time! For one. Money! Interesting? Energy? ETC. There are so many groupings to cover and effectively master for one to feel comfortable knowing that their individual, future-self of ideal nature exists within them RIGHT NOW.
With an emotional anchor in place an individual doesn’t simply get to look at a specific past event without being drawn into the emotional drawbacks of the historical experience. At the expense of setting about strongly with prominent details for resurrecting or re-righting one’s direction in life, use reflection minimally and do use it appropriately to leverage an outcome.
We are well aware of through our own experience the impacts that a strongly anchored impression can make. It can be devastating—most, if not all, of us have been there. Repeat: “HAVE BEEN THERE.” And wherever, or, whatever moment of the past is sticking? or where an anchor rests upon the delicate fabric network of microscopic, neuronal connections of thought patterns surrounding it—keep in mind—evidently this fabric is strong enough that a choice to persist was made. NOW it is time to focus on the present and elevate the self-lined fabric of the mind back into a present existence.
To strengthen the fabric of which certain anchors might collect upon one must develop an overwhelming repetitious consistency in appreciating every moment. Each and every moment and being present to it with strongly lit levels of clarity offers to cement the relationship with what temporarily occurs in the present as well as enabling a stronger ability to detach and progress forward. Generally speaking this skill of strengthened mental fabric and rebounding both proactively and positively as a response towards the “anchors” should theoretically correspond with age, however, this is not necessarily the case and most likely due to the fact that our current ecosystem surrounding a strengthening of mental composition as a matter of choice has been severely alienated and destabilized with all of the added distractions.
The main point being made here is to get over any past triggers and anchors that have accrued in one’s mental library—and none of which may be serving a definite purpose or desirable outcome. It is believed that a strong identity with acceptance and appreciation within the present moment must be religiously focused upon in order to gain tremendous stability.
