And here is likely one of the most jagged-edged pills to swallow: both you and I have been programmed since the very beginning of our mutually exclusive existences. As the result of this extensive period of digesting information and interpreting the use-value of it in our daily lives, we have discovered a relatively sufficient pattern of performing along with it.
Yet at the very beginning; amidst the depths of whatever sequencing of events an individual has shored-up for themselves—each and every one of us align by our understanding and interpretation of using which is a device recognized and known by us as: TIME.
In the smallest and most-pressure pivotal positions of orientation with this device, we learn how to structure our lives either by a reactionary form of understanding, or? And here is where we come in—a causal form of craftsmanship. See—each moment that flutters by—offers with it an opportunity. And? Whether that ‘opportunity’ is taken advantage of or not, in as far as its potential use-value, is up to the individual. Here! Let’s give a blanket-face, direct example to share how we have learned to use certain opportunities of time as an asset. A lot of this work will involve developing an innate sense of gratitude and appreciation. But nevermind—THE EXAMPLE goes along as follows: Mighty works hard at their job. Day in—day out Mighty returns home exhausted, flustered, and ashamed for not being able to make more of the world Mighty has been able to create. Mighty is paid for time in the work that is rendered. The time that might otherwise be used, or spent on pacing and waiting, watching, twiddling and doing nothing for life. Mighty would much rather be offering value to the world than to be caught doing nothing. While Mighty yearns for more in being able to do more with their time? Mighty is still unaware of the opportunity each moment allows for an individual to THINK and to BE. So now? Let’s try the same situational example with Mighty in it, but only—in using the opportunity of the moment, within the moment!
Mighty has been working extremely hard lately. Each moment spent is another moment where appreciation and gratitude adapts and latches on to the physical exertion. Mighty comes home exhausted still, but begins recognizing something uniquely separate from before: Mighty is attracting more people and more opportunity into their life simply be altering the behavioral thought patterns—using each moment as an opportunity to feel thankful. Now? Everyday a smile appears on Mighty’s face while in heavy-pursuit of reaching the goals that the company has set out for their workers to achieve. This is the exact type of behavior externally that boss’s and supervisor’s love to witness. Mighty is in excellent form and using appreciation to the T; where “T” represents the crossroads between NOW and THANKFULNESS.
Then what exactly is the opportunity given by each moment? Well? In the case of These United States of America (and in my humble opinion, I would like to assert that this same opportunity reaches further into the world) the opportunity of having the thought and the associated feeling of gratitude and appreciation that a single moment could allow for. Not only is this practice most beneficial for the individual who might perceive themselves as having reached the “lowest of the low” in their life, but also for the person yet aware of the momentum that this action carries with it. Appreciation and gratitude offer an individual more beneficial growth to their world of the external, physical reality as well as their infinite, internal reality. Having nothing? Is an art—it is a beautiful thing—it is one of the most difficult things to pull off while at the same time retaining confidence, courage, compassion, kindness, intellect and clarity. Notice? None of these things hold any weight. Yet every one of these character traits are desired.
Hold steady to the mast of opportunity in the moment. Do not let the veil fool you on your own self-worth. Say it with me: I am massively wealthy. I am powerful beyond measure. I hold the light that few will ever be so bold to furnish and earn for themselves. My work is already done. I am complete and I am always thankful for this moment.
This existence is beyond the appearances that the majority of the population validates and upholds. It goes hand in hand with not caring what other people think. This lifetime is short in comparison to the next level. So, be appreciative at your own pace if you so choose to take advantage of each moment. But please remember regardless: always be kind to yourself. You have come so far.
